Michał Gabriel Woźniak

Professor Dr. h. c. Michał Gabriel Woźniak is the head of the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Economics in Krakow and the head of the Department of Microeconomics at the University of Rzeszów. He is the author of over 350 publications in the field of economics and economic policy. He endorses an interdisciplinary research approach, economics for the people, not just for the "econs”, he studies the imperfections of management, economic interventionism and market mechanisms, economic growth, transformation, system reforms and economic policy, and proposes integrated development. He is a member and correspondent of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Polska Akademia Nauk, PAN), the section of economics of the Polish Academy of Learning (Polska Akademia Umiejętności, PAU The "Poland 2000 Plus" Forecast Committee PAS, founder and editor-in-chief of the scientific quarterly Social Inequalities and Economic Growth.
